I was healed through Christian Science of a tendency to miscarry, and as a result of this healing I was able to have three lovely sons. Two of our sons are now approaching adulthood, while the third is soon to begin secondary schooling. Throughout their upbringing, we have relied on Christian Science for healing, and their needs have always been fully met.

On one occasion, one of the boys had part of his fingertip cut off in an accident. The medical prediction was that he would lose the fingernail and that the healing would take a long time. No medication was given, but clean, unmedicated dressings were used and changed regularly. With the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner the condition was fully healed within a short time with no loss of the fingernail. The doctor expressed surprise at the speed and completeness of the healing.

One day, a short while before an expected visit from a friend who is a Christian Science practitioner, one of the children fell backward against the edge of a step and sustained a deep cut in the back of his head. Learning of the situation on his arrival, my friend agreed to pray with us and also suggested we call in a Christian Science nurse to dress the wound. I was so grateful for the calmness and expertise brought to the situation by the loving nurse, who helped over the next few days.
