I would like to add my testimony to the body of practical evidence showing that Christian Science heals.

At the age of seven I was stricken with scarlet fever. I was hospitalized, and three successive doctors examined me and agreed that I was in a steadily worsening condition. They suggested that I be taken home, saying that nothing further could be done. In desperation, my parents called a Christian Science practitioner. She came into my room, sat down next to my bed, prayed, and talked with me. In a short while, despite the fact that I had not previously been able to eat for some time, I got up, feeling fine, and said, "I would like a chicken dinner." I was fully healed, and we were all very grateful.
