Five years ago, through an accident at home, I broke my nose. I affirmed immediately that divine Mind was governing me. Then I called a Christian Science practitioner, who assured me that Christian Science treatment would be given right away. i reminded myself that God knew only good, and that He still saw me as a perfect idea, and I could see this spiritual perfection too.

After about ten minutes the pain eased and the bleeding stopped. There was, however, soreness and I could tell the nose was swelling. The practitioner and I continued to pray.

This took place about two o'clock in the afternoon. When the other family members came home about three hours later, there wasn't anything noticeable about my nose. By the following day all swelling was gone. All seemed well except for a crook in the spot where I had hit it. Before long that too was healed.
