I wish to express my gratitude for the many healings I have had in Christian Science for a period of over fifty years. At one time, before I was a Christian Scientist, I was given a position to represent several fire and casualty insurance companies as a special agent. I was responsible for a large area, and because of competition I was encouraged to entertain our agents. This entertaining included social drinking and cigarette smoking, and before long I found myself with rather serious drinking and smoking habits. This led to bronchial asthmatic trouble, which carried on for some time.

At one point I was introduced to the teachings of Christian Science and eventually was healed of the drinking and smoking habits, as well as the asthmatic trouble. These healings have been permanent throughout many years, and I am grateful to God for them.

I later joined a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, where I served as a Reader. I am so thankful for Christian Science and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.
