This long overdue testimony comes from a heart full of gratitude...
This long overdue testimony comes from a heart full of gratitude for the blessing of having been a student of Christian Science since childhood. I have always been grateful for God's loving care.
Mumps, chicken pox, severe headaches, a tumor that caused excessive loss of blood, and a kidney infection are some of the healings I have had with the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner.
During the past five years I have realized more than ever the importance of this statement in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 442): "Christian Scientists, be a law to yourselves that mental malpractice cannot harm you either when asleep or when awake." It is vital to be alert to deny the validity of material belief, which would limit one's health because of age.
