Why is Christian Science so appealing?
To someone seeking answers to life's big questions—Who am I? What is my purpose? Is there a God? What is my relationship to Him?—Christian Science offers revolutionary answers.
Christian Science appeals to the individual who yearns to relinquish a material, sinful sense of self and to gain a higher sense of reality. Christian Science draws those who want to know God better.
It may be that an individual cannot articulate exactly what it is he's seeking, but his dissatisfaction with materiality, precipitated by a desire to put a material sense of self aside and motivated by a gnawing hunger for spiritual understanding, indicates his attraction to the very theology that impels spiritual growth.
The slightest degree of spiritual awakening gives us a nudge toward understanding God as the source of all good—life, health, and happiness.
