I've gone all through the day and never heard
A word
From You, through lack of listening.

So near, yet You seemed so far,
The way
I've let long hours go wasting.

Nor have I thanked You.
No. Nor asked You things.

But what do You think I've learned?
How much I've missed You, Lord.
