The flute that wasn't lost
One of the first things someone learns in studying Christian Science is that God is Spirit, and His creation is spiritual. All of it. In the first chapter of the Bible we learn about how God made man: "God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion" Gen. 1:26. over everything.
Doesn't this show that what God, Spirit, made—whatever is real —is spiritual, reflecting Him? There actually is nothing material about thoughts or individuals or anything else in God's creation. Mrs. Eddy says, "Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique." Science and Health, p. 475.
Sometimes we're not 100 percent sure that this is the fact. We think things are out of order, or we feel hurt, or we're afraid. Then we need to get straight to God and His idea, to see what God knows and how His truth works in our lives.
