"While the ongoing world crisis is often described in economic, financial and political terms, it is infrequently thought of as an offshoot of a crucial problem of much greater significance and importance for human existence—the downgrading of spiritual values in the ongoing debates.
"Although depression, failure, poverty, suffering, class struggles and other demoralizing terms in the lexicon of fear and adversity are used to describe the present crisis, little is said about the serious crisis of human values around which the social, economic and political framework of normal societies revolve.
