This testimony of the healing of kidney stones is long overdue, as it occurred many years ago.

After visiting a Christian Science Sunday School with a friend, I decided that this was the Sunday School I wanted to attend. My parents were of another denomination, but they allowed me to do this. It was not long before my mother became a student of Christian Science. But I later fell away from Science, although I never used medicine when physical difficulties arose.

One day while driving home from the golf course with some friends, I had a sudden overwhelming pain in my kidney area and had to stop the car. My friends were very concerned and insisted on taking me to a nearby hospital, even though I told them I wanted to go home. In the meantime, one of my friends drove home to get my wife, who was not a student of Christian Science at that time. I asked my friend to have my wife call a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful help.
