I am grateful for proofs in my life of God's loving care and would like to share the following experiences.

Several years ago I was walking back to my apartment late one night. The neighborhood seemed deserted. I was engrossed in thought but was startled out of my reverie by a succession of sharp blows to my body. I was being attacked by two men who apparently were trying to knock me off the street and into the doorway of a nearby apartment building.

What happened next was quite amazing. I immediately felt the most blissful sensation of being wrapped in love ... God's love, and I felt no pain. Soon another man appeared on the scene, saw what was happening, and said loudly "Stop!" I remember a strong sense of moral outrage in his voice. The two men froze, and I walked away, pausing to thank the man who had halted the attack.
