Wake up—we need you now

Have you ever caught yourself partway down a familiar route but with no clear recollection of having made the stops or turns that got you to that particular point?

At church have you stood up for the last hymn realizing that you hadn't really been paying very much attention to the service?

It's a hazy quality of thought—not conducive either to safety or to spiritual progress. It's also not a necessity.
