Did you know Gethsemane was a garden?
Place of the oil press.
Admittedly
on the face of it
it doesn't seem too obvious
not as easy or as inviting as Eden
but repetitive tilling (boring or thrilling)
followed the dream of Eden.
And the Christ (preexistent, love over-spilling)
awakens us to a
new idea
of rooting
growing
blossoming
blooming
in the garden that is always there.
