The right answer

Lucy Chambers Karwell

Am I going to accept
the clatter of matter,
diagnose just how it came,
dignify its nonsense
with a name?

Not while I know
only one divine cause—one God—
and let His bright truth shine.
For when I do, I always see
pure, spiritual being mine.
