Our role in business: to love as Jesus loved
Saying we should love one another can seem like a cliche until we see its healing effect!
I Was once faced with a serious customer relationship problem resulting from the malfunction of a piece of complicated electronics equipment that my company manufactured. Tempers were already short and resentment rampant when I became involved. I encountered extreme hostility, and there was only a limited time available to solve the technical problem. ...
I have learned through my study of Christian Science that hostility in any degree is foreign and contrary to God's creation. It is an imposition, a denial of the correct view of man. A solution to the technical problem was found in about four hours when I willingly rejected the hostility as untrue and realized the ever-present and harmonious perfection of God and man. A number of close personal relationships resulted from the day's success, which benefited all concerned.
