A way the vulture's eye hasn't seen
Some years ago my husband and I were about to buy a beautiful piece of land on which to build a house. We had wanted for years to live in that picturesque part of the country and had prayed about what we should do. Just before making the final decision, I was standing there one day admiring the lovely view. Suddenly, to my great surprise, it was as though I heard a message: "This is not for you."
I could hardly believe it, but it was as if I had actually heard the words, and I knew where they must have come from. It was the voice of Truth, speaking to me, the divine intelligence each of us can hear when his thought is spiritually receptive and obedient.
