Years ago I emigrated to the United States because of the political situation in my former country. After coming here I worked in different places but was unable to find steady employment.
My wife and I visited a Christian Science sanatorium and had an interview with the administrator to apply for work, but there were no vacancies at that time. Still, we met a woman in charge of volunteer workers at the sanatorium, and we volunteered to work in the garden. Our offer was accepted.
On our first day I worked with the machine for picking up leaves. At one point the machine stopped momentarily. When I tried to start it, I put my foot too near the engine. All of a sudden I felt acute pain. The engine, which was very hot, had burned my clothes and skin. Immediately I acknowledged the presence of God. I also recalled a testimony of healing in which the testifier was healed under similar circumstances. The next day when I looked at the skin, there was new flesh on the area that had been burned. My healing was complete, leaving no scar.
