The human eye
greets the morning sun
but consciousness wakes
to the brightness of God's
glory. As day unfolds
with a new adventure,
a new pinnacle to climb,
to a much higher view
than that of yesterday—
more exhilarating, so full
of expectancy, we begin
the ascent.
