FOR CHILDREN
Learning to write it right
Jenny stood in front of the bulletin board to examine each example of writing. Her paper wasn't there—again. It had been three months since they started learning how to print words. Even though she thought her papers were good, the teacher had never put them on the bulletin board. Something was wrong.
All her life Jenny had taken her worries to God. Her favorite time in the whole week was Sunday School at the Christian Science church. Her teacher there talked about the way to pray. Prayer means knowing that God is good—all the time. God always has been first, before anything else, so He created everything the way He wanted it. And because He is good and nothing else, He caused everything He made to be good, too.
Jenny knew that all of this meant that God has all the power, to keep everything good. As God's child she was like Him, very' good, too. Lots of times, when she had been hurt, Jenny had been healed by prayer—by knowing that God kept her well.
