Privileges! Mine have been countless

Privileges! Mine have been countless. I am most grateful for having attended a Christian Science Sunday School, for church membership, and for Christian Science class instruction. I am also grateful for the many healings I have witnessed or experienced that have come through the teachings of this Science.

At one time, over several months, it became increasingly clear that I should change my residence. I felt that the house in which I had lived for many years really should have a family enjoying its accommodations, and that I could be happy with much less responsibility. Through the acknowledgment that God's wisdom governs man, I endeavored to take each step as it became apparent. The more I studied and prayed, the clearer it became that the purpose of my prayers was not to invoke God's control of the details of human events, but rather to so identify with God's ever-presence that the human events would evolve naturally.

It was important to acknowledge God as the all-knowing, ever-present Mind; and man, His reflection, as living and moving spiritually. The clarity of this reasoning removed the entire activity from concern about a human experience to a demonstration of the allness of God's kingdom, where we truly dwell.
