One day I was on an outing with some friends. Then my stomach started to hurt. When I got home, my mother and I talked. Then I got out my Bible and my Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I read the twenty-third and ninety-first Psalms in the Bible. And I looked up some things in Science and Health. By the time I finished studying I felt a lot better. Soon I was fine. Christian Science has helped me have other healings, but this one I wanted to share because I worked out the problem myself!

I am pleased to confirm Erin's healing. When she felt ill, Erin and I talked about the illusionary or "ghostlike" nature of mortal beliefs, such as sickness. We also discussed spiritual truths of God she had learned in her class in the Christian Science Sunday School, which she attends regularly.

Erin has been learning, through her study of Science, how to apply the truths contained in the Bible and Science and Health to her everyday life. Although she has had many healings in Christian Science, this was the first that had been the direct result of her own study and prayer.

Both Erin and her younger sister enjoy the articles for children that are featured regularly in the Sentinel. Often the girls are the first to get hold of the latest issue when it arrives by mail! We have found these articles, which are written expressly for young people, to be helpful, as they shed light on various problems that the children may be having to work through, such as illness, fear, or an unhappy relationship with another child.

I am grateful for the many avenues that Mrs. Eddy so wisely provided for our spiritual growth in Christian Science.
