Daystar
My brother!
"Unto you is born this day...
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
You and I
are touched by one Christ star.
Where we are—
desert, mountain, town—
we stand together in one light
no depth or distance or height
can dim.
Where we are
Love shines past time and space,
past flesh to thought;
we feel its power.
Here, in this hour,
we are all brethren,
all walking together under one sun.
My brother!
The day will dawn
and the daystar will appear.
God is our Father-Mother, One!
Christ brings God's likeness, man,
to human consciousness.
Reality is spiritual!
Here is one law and Principle—
all opposite is falsity,
as Jesus taught. We can be free!
Together with the Mind of Christ
we can find ways to heal, bind up—
to raze the structures
of hate and war, of greed
and fear, meet
mankind's needs,
reach peace.
Today
through corridors of courage
stretch away long lines of love
in light—
one star, one eternal Christmas day!
