Through the past twenty-five years I have had many healings and meaningful experiences in Christian Science.
One such experience happened some years ago. It seemed necessary to move a large pile of long hardwood timber. (I was past middle age and I am of small stature.) After praying about this, I was able to do the job myself, feeling completely sure of God's help. This work was a wonder, for when I lifted the heavy timber and carried it away, it seemed practically weightless. I recognized this as God's work.
At the end of the task, I carted six wheelbarrows of smaller pieces a long distance. There was no feeling of fatigue or exhaustion while doing the work or afterwards. I was so grateful for this proof of God's love, and for His power and presence.
