LEARNING THE LANGUAGE OF SPIRIT
What do we mean by scientific?
We get used to words. Have you ever realized you've become so familiar with a phrase that you no longer remember its original meaning?
Think of the words Salvation Army, for example. At first they meant to people exactly what they said. An army organized, literally, for the purpose of salvation.
Later, for the public at least, the words tended to run together. For many, the phrase has become simply the title of an organization (a fine one, which does good deeds—often where no one else will).
