It has been many years since I have submitted a testimony to the periodicals, and I feel I must again express in writing my deep gratitude for all that the study of Christian Science has done for me.
The healings mentioned in my earlier testimony have been permanent, and I have had many others. One of them is a healing of the tendency to have at least one bout of influenza each winter. Another healing I am most grateful for is that of a broken coccyx.
I would like to tell of a more recent healing. One Monday morning about a year ago, I took my spade and transplanted a plant in my yard. The ground was rather hard and the task took some effort, but I was able to finish it. That night when I went to bed, I found I could not lie down without a great deal of pain, no matter what position I assumed. I finally got up and for the rest of the night walked around my house, sitting from time to time in various chairs in an effort to get comfortable.
