One day I went outside to play on the swings in our yard
One day I went outside to play on the swings in our yard. I was five years old. I went to play with my sister. We started to swing on the swings, and then suddenly the swing set fell over and I hit my head. It hurt! My sister helped me get up, and my mom prayed a lot and I prayed, too.
I was learning in the Christian Science Sunday School that there is only one God and that God is all-loving. He is our Father-Mother. He is the Shepherd and we are the sheep. There couldn't be anything wrong with me, because if He is perfect, because we are His children, we are all perfect. The next day I felt so good, I went running around and being happy. If God wasn't here, everything would go wrong, so I'm glad He is here. I'm grateful!
