"Thank you for the encouragement and opportunity to do further work on [my] potential article. Upon rereading I could readily see, with you, needed improvements, and your specific suggestions helped me in this revision a great deal.
"While living in the Alaska bush, the Monitor and periodicals were my Christian Science 'community'— cherished, reread, and vital. Moving to within driving distance of a group, then a society; having class instruction; and later attending a city church expanded my contacts with other Christian Scientists, but the periodicals are still the much-loved old friends. So while writing articles myself is new, I have long thought in terms of 'there's an idea for an article' or 'this would be a great article.'
Also, the idea of being able to write for the periodicals if you love them makes sense to me."
