I wish to express gratitude to God for the Bible and for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. To me these are the two most important and precious books in this world, and I am so thankful for the privilege of having them to study and to live by, so far as I understand their healing message.

Several years ago I arranged to travel to a large city to stay with my grandson while his parents went on a holiday. Before the trip I prayed, working with a religious article from The Christian Science Monitor on the subject of protecting one's home. This Bible quotation was included in the article (Ps. 91:9, 10): "Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."

I joined the little family, but the night before the couple were to leave, I woke feeling very disturbed. I then did a lot of praying to clear my thought and to gain peace. I worked with the ninety-first Psalm, especially the verses quoted above. I prayed until I felt confident that God, divine Love, was caring for all in the city. My prayer brought the assurance that no one was outside of immortal Mind's control, for in Science all are the children of God.
