From grief afar
As the rhythm of my life moves in a growing awareness
of man's real identity and being,
the seeming barriers of time, distance, death,
fall before the timeless truth
that we are ever at one with God.
And I discern the love and joy you shared with me
forever here, to bless and heal,
free of earth's cruel endings.
As I seek to know God's infinite design,
in serenity and peace I pray,
and thoughts of you walk softly through my day.
