"O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou...
"O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me" (Ps. 30:2).
From early childhood I was aware of a growth on my thigh. I was frequently warned not to bump, scratch, or touch it unnecessarily, although I was never told why.
One time, many years later, after I had married and my children were in high school, I was swimming in the ocean, when some small minnowlike fish attacked this area of my leg so viciously that I had to leave the water. A few months later there seemed to be a disturbance there; the growth enlarged and became quite painful. My husband, who was not a student of Christian Science, became very fearful and asked me to go to a physician.
