Immediate response
When God bids us serve Him in some specific way, do we do so immediately, without reservations, without complaint?
In the Bible we find many examples of individuals who heeded God's commands, with dramatic results. We read of one such instance in the Gospel of Matthew. When Christ Jesus walked by the place where Peter and Andrew were fishing, he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
The record shows they didn't hesitate. We read, "And they straightway left their nets, and followed him." Matt. 4:19, 20.
