Hearing angels
"Angels. God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality."Science and Health, p. 581.
"God's thoughts ... spiritual intuitions ... the inspiration of goodness. ..." It's comforting to know that God's thoughts are always with us to meet our every need for wisdom, strength, and help. Mrs. Eddy's clarification of the Biblical term "angels," given in Science and Health, shows us that angels can and should be a natural part of our lives.
Angels are not mythical; they have reality. But Christian Science reveals they are not feathered, beautiful, and somewhat mysterious spiritual beings. Science and Health explains, "Angels are pure thoughts from God, winged with Truth and Love, no matter what their individualism may be." Ibid., p. 298.
