The Comforter brings unfailing comfort
In times of trouble it is comforting to know there's a way to find peace, a way to gain dominion over the turmoil and tragedy that haunt mortal life. This help comes from the ever-present Christ, Truth, expressed today in the Comforter, the divine Science of Christ.
Truth changes our perceptions and revolutionizes our perspective. It gives us the spiritual understanding of God and man, and this brings us a higher outlook and new strength. Through the influence of Christ, Truth, in our lives, outward circumstances that have seemed cruel and unalterable melt into kinder outlines, and needed adjustments take place.
How does the Comforter answer the human cry for help? First of all, by removing the fear that lies at the root of human troubles. Divine Science bears testimony to, and brings us proofs of, the reality of divine Love, God—and Love's omnipresence and harmony governing all that is real. Love's tender care and sustaining power are immediately at hand and available.
