Several years ago, I was faced with a personal crisis that completely changed my life. For the time being I was financially secure. I also got an apartment. And despite prevailing unemployment, I was able to find work. I was grateful for each day.
Soon it became apparent that through the goodness of divine Love, there was a blessing in store for me. I made a decision to give up everything—the people and native homeland that I loved—to marry a Christian Scientist I had known since childhood.
