I wish to attest to the supreme ability of God's power and the tender ever-presence of His care.
One night a propane heater in our barn exploded, shooting gas and flames all around. My husband used a hose, trying to extinguish what he could. And I walked around trying to do what I could, which was not much. The animal cages were glowing red-hot, and the roof was melting and dripping molten metal. In a desperate attempt to pray (my thoughts were frantic), I turned humbly to God and placed the lives of all the animals in His care. Still, all I could see was a disaster and all our work ruined.
Suddenly I realized that since the beginning of our business we had depended on God to give us the strength, knowledge, and calm trust to continue. And with His guidance we had succeeded.
