Answers to some "whys" about Christian Science
There's clear logic in the fact that whatever reveals God to us must be God-derived and Godlike, faithfully expressing His nature.
Whatever bears witness to Truth must be truthful, in total accord with Truth. Whatever manifests divine Love must be loving. Whatever expresses divine Principle must be in exact conformity with Principle, undeviating from it.
Only that which is of God can explain God. Christ Jesus indicated this when he said, "My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me," and, "As my Father hath taught me, I speak these things." John 7:16; 8:28. The logic of this finds expression in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, where Mary Baker Eddy writes: "The divine Principle of the universe must interpret the universe. God is the divine Principle of all that represents Him and of all that really exists."
