The presence of healing
When trouble arises, many wonder if there is a God. And if there is, where is He? Can He help?
With the powerful persuasion of hard-won experience, the Psalmist answers these questions in one assuring sentence: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Ps. 46:1.
The Psalmist was right; God is our helper. He is available now. Anyone can pray to Him, confide in Him, commune with Him. He comforts and encourages those who seek Him.
