Taking the cows to pasture
While taking the cows to pasture one day, Alice overcame her fear of a pony, and she was also healed of trouble in breathing. This is the way it happened:
One morning she came down to breakfast, and her father said, "Alice, I want you to take the cows to pasture this morning. You may ride the pony. I have already started the cows down the road."
Alice said, "But I can't get on the pony. She starts off too fast." The pony's fast start and speed made Alice afraid of riding her.
