Bright, beautiful glimpses of God

I couldn't find Him. Repeated attempts to pray left me feeling sadly estranged from the God I'd known. Then a friend suggested I stop struggling, and simply know that God is All. This changed prayer opened my eyes to the presence of God's lovingkindness all around. I felt His touch. Joy came.

Those who become conscious of God's neverending grace feel the touch of the Christ, which acts as a balm to the human heart. This Christ is the divine manifestation of Love coming to human consciousness.

Christ Jesus, God's beloved Son, was divinely appointed and anointed to bring to earth the saving knowledge of God's power, presence, and glory. As God's earthly representative, Jesus understood fully what we seem to glimpse but faintly. But our understanding will grow as we humbly desire and strive to put on more of the holy character lived by the great Teacher.
