No profitless experience
There's no dooming mistake,
no blighted bud,
no forever lost opportunity,
no too late.
There is learning, learning, learning—
A heart roused awake by the wrong way,
enriched by the right—
no profitless experience.
Then use them all—these growing times—
And climb higher, higher, higher—
With new authority built on lessons eagerly learned—
true wisdom born of teachability.
And ask, "What next, what now, dear Father,
would You have me know and do and be?"
For you are forever His—
His effective idea, sent forth by Him.
He's utilizing you.
He always will.
