A love that transcends time

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. (Jeremiah 31:3.)

However stubborn a problem of pain, lust, strife, or grief seems to be, it cannot outlast the everlasting love of God, eternal Life. For God's love transcends the work of time. Christian Science declares, in the words of its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy: "Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity. One ceases in proportion as the other is recognized." Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 468.

Time can't heal any wounds. It's pointless to wait for time to cure the very ills this error would perpetuate. Whatever good a mortal hopes to find beyond the grave can be discovered and experienced before the grave. No one can afford to put off "putting on" the new man, made in God's immortal image.
