Leave it in God's hands
Where can we turn when we have a decision or a choice to make? We can turn to our divine Parent, God, to govern our affairs and make plain the right answer. God's wisdom can be applied to every situation. As infinite, intelligent Mind, He lights the way. We can trustingly acknowledge this unfailing divine government, humbly yielding to His will with confidence that it is good and must be done; God is omnipotent.
A businessman, who had been unhappy with his employment, was offered a position with a different company in another city. He and his wife had decided he should take it. That evening at a meeting of the local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, his name appeared on the nominating ballot for First Reader. "Should I withdraw my name?" he whispered to his wife. "If I don't and I should be elected, I couldn't take that job." His wife replied, "Leave it in God's hands." He was elected.
He declined the job offer. Soon, however, he was offered another position in the city where he was. Shortly thereafter he heard that the company whose offer he had declined had gone out of business.
