I used to be allergic to dogs
I used to be allergic to dogs. But I wanted to get a puppy. My mom said, "You have to get your healing first." So I called a Christian Science practitioner. We talked and she said I had to stop reacting to error. I had been reacting to people I thought were doing bad things. I'd get very upset. The practitioner said that I shouldn't react to people who are listening to error, or wrong thoughts. She said to study these passages. From the Bible (Gen. 1:31): "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." And from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 514): "All of God's creatures, moving in the harmony of Science, are harmless, useful, indestructible." I thought about these statements and studied them.
Later, when we went to the place where we were going to get the puppy, my nose got stuffy and my eyes started to water. I also started to sneeze. The next day I called the practitioner, and she said not to get upset about getting a stuffy nose, because God was with me, and he would heal me.
The next week we went back to see the puppies. I was free of the allergy, and I got a puppy.
