Meekness and human relationships

Introducing meekness into a human relationship is like pouring oil on a rusted bearing; it can turn a strained, stagnant relationship into a productive one—full of purity and affection.

Of itself, meekness is not the agent that brings change to a relationship. Meekness comes with glimpsing and pursuing the Christ-idea —the manifestation of God, which comes with healing power. Spiritually considered, meekness is a sign of the Christ-idea working in human consciousness. That is, meekness can be won because of what God is doing. And meekness, lived, becomes a powerful tool that helps us better our relationships.
