Once while I was at a small beach cove I borrowed a skateboard...

Once while I was at a small beach cove I borrowed a skateboard from a friend. I went to the top of the hill near the beach and rode it down. Then I fell and skinned my legs, arms, and face. My mom came and got me. While we were riding in the car she sang hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal. When we got home she started reading to me from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and from the Bible. In Matthew it says (5:48), "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." My mom told me that I was perfect too. In two days I was fine. And I had a great summer.

As Richard's mother, I am happy to verify his testimony. He was quickly calmed by familiar hymns of Mrs. Eddy's. He is so very receptive to the truth. His skin cleared in a short time, leaving no scars of any kind. His brother was also in the car, and even though he was only six years old at the time, he helped pray. I am grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School, which teaches children at an early age to turn to God for help.
