Prelude to the Lesson-Sermon
In the wee small hours of mortals' time
I come expectantly
to break the bread of Truth.
The inspired Word
will guide my seeking, longing heart
into peaceful paths,
and the light of Love will shine upon my day.
Forsaking false belief,
I hear the Christ bid me continue on,
with faith confirmed and joy renewed.
Love marks the way!
