The warmth of Soul
It was a snappy fall day as we started on our walk toward the highest point of the arboretum. When we reached the top of the hill I stretched out on a bench, feeling the sun's rays warming me throughout.
As I lay relaxing, looking up at a cloudless, brilliant sky, I thought, "This experience is much like Christian Science treatment, enveloping all in the radiance of Love, God." Love's invigorating radiance comforts and heals us, and corrects erroneous thinking. It brings peace and joy to our being.
The influence of Soul, God, regenerates our thoughts, destroys fears and evil beliefs. Sometimes God may seem hidden from us by clouds of disease, anger, hate, and other distortions of reality. But just as the clouds don't touch the sun or alter it, so sickness and sin cannot change Soul.
