FOR CHILDREN
Safety and Love
Soren loves all kinds of trucks, but especially dump trucks and garbage trucks. Sometimes the dump trucks come right down his street, and he can watch them load up fallen branches and extra leaves. On Friday the big garbage truck comes, first going down one side of the street, then the other. Soren likes to wave at the workmen.
One very special day Soren and his momma decided to go with their trash to where the dump trucks and garbage trucks take their loads. They drove about a mile outside town to the city dump.
Never had Soren seen so much dirt and trash piled like mountains. Every few minutes trucks rumbled in to drop their loads. Even the big garbage trucks looked small down in those huge ditches.
