Magnify man
Christian Science stands preeminent in consummating the definition and demonstration of Godlike man begun in Scripture. Bearing witness to an authentic understanding of God and His ideal creation, every healing in Christian Science awakens some degree of realization that man is actually the effect of God, perfect Being.
Inspiring consistent practice of its scripturally based teachings of Godlike, spiritual man, this Science corrects, regenerates, restores, and renews those in need. In this way Science proves that the man of God's creating—the true individuality of everyone— remains forever perfect and complete. The correct concept of man first appears in the opening chapter of the first book of the Bible, Genesis, which relates that "God created man in his own image." Gen. 1:27. The question "What is man?" is fully answered in the life and healing work of Christ Jesus, as recorded in the four Gospels, when the Master's mission is understood in its Science.
What Jesus knew of man, he proved by replacing the sicknesses, sins, and insanities that suggest a mortal sense of man with the health, holiness, and harmony that certify man's spirituality and immortality.
