Ours—from God
Nothing can possibly have greater effect on our lives than our view of God. Whatever concept of God we hold will be found influencing our motives and decisions.
The Christian who prays the Lord's Prayer understandingly has made a beginning in realizing his spiritual heritage and in knowing God. He is affirming that Spirit, though unseen, is his heavenly Father, and he is acknowledging that Spirit's creation exists as reality. In other words, he recognizes that man, as the offspring of Spirit, the one Father, can inherit only eternal good.
Christian Science, drawing its authority from the Bible, reveals God as infinite Spirit, wholly good, incapable of knowing matter or evil. He is the loving Parent of His infinite, perfect creation. The Scriptures provide ample evidence of the fatherhood of God, and Science reveals the motherhood of God, and man ever at one with Him.
